Minecraft Launchers
You will be required to use Minecraft 1.19.2 to play on the server. You can load the game either via the official Minecraft Launcher, or through MultiMC (a third party launcher).
We recommend against using other launchers due to a recent major security flaw found in the game, which may not be patched if you are playing using an alternative launcher.
Recommended Mods
We don't require any mods, but we do have some recommendations on mods you can use which work well with the server. If you want to use these mods, we recommend you use MultiMC to setup Fabric and install the mods.
Sodium - A client-side performance optimisation mod for Fabric.
Simple Voice Chat - Communicate with proximity or group voice chat within the game.
Joining the Server
You can join the server by heading to the Multiplayer menu and pressing "Add a Server". You can then put in the IP: mc.thegameroom.xyz and get playing!
